Manual QA Engineer
About The Position
PlainID, a leading startup, is seeking an R&D QA engineer with an orientation to automation, to join our growing team to improve the end-to-end product features and align the R&D solution to the company’s business needs and overcome new technology challenges. Our solution is based on Java and React, SaaS product platform with multi-tenancy based on microservices architecture.
We’re looking for you - a manual QA engineer with the potential to grow to automation QA, an experienced team player to join and develop the next generation of our leading security product.

What will you do?
- Hands-on manual test execution
- Implement UI and API automated tests based on Postman (or other tool)
- Work on product platform solutions
- Handle installations and configuration of the system
- Debug logs
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and other QA Engineers to identify requirements.
- Identify and record newly open bugs in Jira
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer for a SaaS system
- Experience in writing test plans and documents
- Experience in SQL Queries - A must
- Experience working with Postman (or other API tool) - A must
- Strong Linux Knowledge
- Experience with Jira
- Excellent English (reading and writing)
- Background in Authorization and Authentication processes - advantage
- Deep understanding of the Cyber Security domain - advantage
