Product Marketing Manager
About The Position
PlainID is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with passion to simplify complex technical concepts into customer-centric narratives.
In this role, you will own the product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for our products. You will work cross-functionally with product management, sales, customer success, and the broader marketing team to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Product marketing strategic planning and positioning
- Develop and Execute Product Marketing Strategy - Create a comprehensive product marketing strategy plan aligned with company objectives.
- Messaging & Positioning
- Craft clear, compelling messaging and differentiated positioning that communicates the value of our products to key customer segments.
- Sales Enablement
- Create collateral, presentations, battle cards, and training materials to support the sales team and improve win rates.
- Customer & Market Insights
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product strategy and marketing initiatives.
- Content Development
- Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to create case studies, blog posts, whitepapers, and videos that drive engagement and lead generation
- Product Adoption & Retention:
- Partner with customer success and product teams to improve onboarding flows, in-product messaging, and usage metrics through lifecycle marketing
- Analysts relationships - Build and maintain analysts’ relationships
- Performance Measurement - Track product marketing-influenced pipeline to ensure contribution to overall pipeline growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within a SaaS or B2B technology environment
- Background in cybersecurity, identity & access management (IAM)
- Strong understanding of go-to-market planning, positioning, and value-based messaging
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
