Product Marketing Manager

About The Position

PlainID is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) with passion to simplify complex technical concepts into customer-centric narratives.

In this role, you will own the product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for our products. You will work cross-functionally with product management, sales, customer success, and the broader marketing team to drive awareness, adoption, and engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Product marketing strategic planning and positioning
  • Develop and Execute Product Marketing Strategy - Create a comprehensive product marketing strategy plan aligned with company objectives. 
  • Messaging & Positioning
  • Craft clear, compelling messaging and differentiated positioning that communicates the value of our products to key customer segments.
  • Sales Enablement
  • Create collateral, presentations, battle cards, and training materials to support the sales team and improve win rates.
  • Customer & Market Insights
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product strategy and marketing initiatives.
  • Content Development
  • Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to create case studies, blog posts, whitepapers, and videos that drive engagement and lead generation
  • Product Adoption & Retention:
  • Partner with customer success and product teams to improve onboarding flows, in-product messaging, and usage metrics through lifecycle marketing
  • Analysts relationships - Build and maintain analysts’ relationships
  • Performance Measurement - Track product marketing-influenced pipeline to ensure contribution to overall pipeline growth

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within a SaaS or B2B technology environment
  • Background in cybersecurity, identity & access management (IAM)
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market planning, positioning, and value-based messaging 
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
