About The Position

The main objective of the VP Business Development would be to lead the strategic direction and execution of all the company’s indirect sales and business development efforts. The VP of BuisDev will develop and strengthen the eco-system of PlainID partnerships and alliances as well as work closely with internal stakeholders like Sales, Marketing and Product Management to establish new alliances and manage existing relationships with the goals of achieving PlainID success and drive significant revenue contribution.

  • Manage the PlainID USA and EMEA team of alliances and partnerships managers
  • Develop and execute detailed world wide business plans that achieves clear financial goals
  • Communicate regularly and as-needed to internal stakeholders the progress, plans, and directions needed to keep the organization aligned around our Alliance objectives, including communication with C-Level executives
  • Establish an indirect sales, OEM and channel strategy and programs and lead the execution in the market
  • Identify, create and develop strong relationships with leading vendors, system integrators and consulting firms in order to develop them into advocates and partners
  • Cultivate and drive channel sales opportunities through to the global executive sales team in collaboration and coordination with channel, solutions and referral partner

Requirements

  • At least ten years' experience of business development, relationship management and strategic alliances in the Software / SAAS fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing or Technology
  • Background in the Identity and Access Management field – a significant advantage
  • Rapid learner, self-starter who takes the initiative to achieve and exceed goals and thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Solid background and proven track record in formulating and executing partnership strategies
  • Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills and passion for engaging with people
  • An extensive network in the Software/SaaS fields
  • Willingness to work from a home office and ability to travel when required and within the Americas-Europe
